The new world order raises many questions and few answers.
The idea that economic recession, climate change, humanitarian crisis and famine problems – among other factors – are changing people’s minds to establish a better environment and a better world, a new world order, fades with the argument that the only thing that is shifting from one extreme to the other: it is power. Economic and political power is changing hands.
Therefore, for real change it is necessary to consider technology. If technology is a useful tool in day-to-day life, it is clear that it is necessary to conceive real change and establish a new world order.
In this sense, the new world order should be conceptualized as the change of habits, thoughts and the development of new lifestyles. However, this conception brings with it many enigmas because at the end of the day each head is a different world. It is important to reflect that there are similar ways of thinking, but they are never the same.
There are several economic, political and social actors that make us believe that there is a new social order; however, this has only implied a change of powers. Nevertheless, more and more people are demanding a real transformation of the status quo, and more and more actors are using technology to spread this unrest.
That said, we need to be prepared for both scenarios. We must do our bit and promote cultural, social, environmental, economic and financial innovations to achieve a truly new world order. For example, in the service sector, boutique hotels are an alternative that meets these changes.
Consequently, making money for the sake of making money makes you richer, but it does not imply that we are financially healthier.
Finally, let us consider that making money with people is not the same as making money from people.
